Last week was our first PBS BUC drawing! PBS stands for Positive Behavior Support.  This school wide program is based on the foundation of teaching, modeling, and rewarding respectful, responsible, and resourceful behaviors.  By doing this, teachers and students will maintain a safe, secure, and positive environment at SMS, which will result in an ongoing demonstration of good character.  For going the extra mile, students earn “Bucs” from their teachers throughout the year which can be turned in for rewards.  Students were able to submit as many of their earned Bucs as they wanted into this past Friday’s drawing.  

In celebration of all the great behavior at Simmons, a drawing will be held every other Friday for reward.  Congratulations to all the students whose names were drawn Friday!  They earned a free ice cream treat!
