Hello! I'm Winnie Davis, the 7th grade Counselor. This is my 12th year at Simmons Middle School and my 21st year as a counselor. I love working with children and couldn't imagine doing anything else!

I hope to meet many of you throughout the year but until then, I would like to share a bit of information about myself. I have lived in Helena for the past seventeen years with my husband, Kenn, our daughters, Kennedy and Karrington, and our two cats, Destin and Dusty. I grew up in the small town of Demopolis which is about an hour and a half southwest of Birmingham. I enjoy spending time with my girls, writing poetry, relaxing on the beach, and collecting anything Winnie the Pooh.
