My name is Ashlee Webster, and I am the 6th grade school counselor here at Simmons Middle School. Prior to working at SMS, I was a TOPS (Therapeutic Outreach Prevention in Schools) Counselor. I went to six different middle schools in the Shelby County area and counseled students who were referred to me. I have had internship experience at Liberty Park Middle School and Owens House (Child Advocacy Center). I have a deep passion for counseling and helping children!
I am here to help you in the areas of academics, personal/social issues, and becoming college and career ready. I am available to help in any way and my door is always open! If you need to see me, please let your teacher know or drop by my office during an elective or in between periods. If I am not available, you can leave me a note outside my office or email me at awebster@hoover.k12.al.us for non emergencies. Please check the Blog often for updates and opportunities!
